Disney Interested In Coney Island, Brooklyn

I heard a few things about this... Is Disney really looking into establishing some sort of park at Coney Island in Brooklyn, NYC ?

i have heard a few things also one of which is they want to but astroland and the boardwalk but nothing is confirmed

My girlfriend grew up a few blocks from coney island and her parents still live there. Unless you are a New Yorker and are used to these kinds of neighborhoods (trash, graffiti, crowds, VERY odd people wondering about) then you may go. Very few people would bring their families from far places let alone the NY NJ suburbs to this spot. Disney would be foolish to even think it. Imagine the Belt Parkway even more crowded then it already is!

True Liam... I grew up on Long Island... BUT... look what disney did for 42nd street. That was a den of prostitutes and bums.4 2nd street is now family friendly and a joy to visit.
