Disney Institute anyone??

Hi all. There's an ad in our local paper that the Disney Institute is coming and doing a seminar (full day) in September. Has anyone ever gone to this? It looks really interesting, but it's $345 to attend. Is it stuff I already know, being a seasoned DISer and frequent Dis customer?? I feel like we, on these boards, already know a LOT about the 'business behind the magic'... ?? What do you guys think?

Have done 5 of the DI Seminars and visiting WDW more than 29 times, DL 3 times and DCL 2 times, I can tell you that the classes and seminars are NOTHING like being in the parks or on the ships. They cover the Disney way of doing things, People Management, Operational Excellence, etc. It isn't "Here is what we do" it is here is how we can help you use our success as a business to improve yours. I loved everyone of my seminars and am very grateful that I had a boss who saw the value in sending me to them. I never did the one day local ones, but I imagine they are also a great way of learning something new.

Years ago I atteneded a breakfast seminar hosted by Disney Institute. It was pretty cool but my company paid for it, and it lasted only a couple of hours.
