I love those nails. They look a little better than my "home" experiement...:rotfl:

I will try and post pictures.

OP here, kicking this thread to the top...hoping for some fresh ideas! I LEAVE IN 2 WEEKS!!!!

Has anyone seen the "gradient nails"? I'm thinking of getting them blue and sparkly like Cinderella :) I'll see if I can't find a picture to post.

All of these are so cute, I suck at almost everything nail art related, I can do my left hand fine, and then it all goes wrong when it comes to doing my right hand. But I'm totally going to have to try some Mickey/Minnie designs. :cloud9:

This is before I cleaned up the edges. I was waiting on stairs of the pirate ship water slide at BC and a nice lady said oh a hidden Mickey cool.

Love these!! So glad to see this thread resurrected again!

I don't have a picture, but for last year's Christmas trip I did a wintery blue and white manicure, and covered it with both glow in the dark polish, and UV polish. I love it when my nails glow while on rides.

I really wish I could find a Disney nail stamping plate. They have Coraline sets! Disney should jump on it too! Nail stamping is ridiculously easy and looks so nice.

I tried the gradient nails at one point, but it didn't really work out all that well. It more or less just looked like two colors.

Sorry if I babble on a bit, nail polish is one of my "things". I love it!

Those are so pretty, where did you get the glow in the dark polish? Being a bit of a polish connoisseur, have you ever checked out Zoya? They had this really cool polish for the holidays, but WOW was it ever hard to take off afterwards!!

Generally I get glow in the dark polish at Halloween. Most are no name bottles I pick up at drug stores, but China Glaze came out with a glow in the dark polish last year that you can sort of use as a top coat, though it makes the color look a little milky. OPI came out with a glow in the dark polish too last year, but it's bright green.

Those holiday colors are so pretty! The only Zoya polish I have are some flake glitter polishes that I think came out recently. In general I'm a China Glaze or OPI fangirl, but Essie and Zoya are winning me over.

Have you ever tried the aluminum foil trick to take off glitter? Put some polish remover on a cotton ball, put it on your nail and wrap your fingertip in aluminum foil. It sounds ridiculous, but after five minutes or so the polish will usually come right off. I paint my nails at least once a week, and I'm pretty sure I use 90% of our aluminum foil.

After whining about there not being any Disney nail stamping plates I started poking around ebay and found some! They're not exactly "official" but the moment Disney puts out official nail stamping plates I'll buy the crap out of them.

Here are my Winnie the Pooh nails, pardon me for using my phone for the pictures. I'm not sure why I didn't use a real camera. Oh, and sorry they're a little messy.

I have to admit that as much as I love Pooh, I bought this plate for the bees.

I had a lot of fun giggling about telling everyone I needed to find Pooh colored nail polish. Though it ended up being harder to find than I thought it would be. I guess that's what I get for being a little immature.

Wow, talk about great ideas for our upcoming trip!! Can't wait to try some of these ideas out-I might have to try several to test what I can actually do before our Dec. trip. I'd love to do something with Tinkerbell, but I'm not sure I'm that talented so Mickey might be my default.

To the DD's donald duck- maybe you could try to paint some tips like donald's hankercheif or hat? He's kind of tricky for sure.
