Disney Infinity, Cheaper in the US?

Hi its DS birthday when we go in October and he is a Skylanders fan so want to buy him the Disney Infinity. Is it worth waiting to see if it is cheaper in America?
Anyone seen it there or are any US Disser's that can tell me?

It could be worth looking on amazon.com for it as that will give you both the RRP and the amazon price. I'd bank on being charged the RRP in WDW.
You might also want to check compatibility with US games and UK consoles. I believe the PS3 will play games no matter where they're bought (ie it's region-free) but the XBox360 won't do this.

The answer to your question is yes, it is cheaper in the US BUT you can't buy the actual game in the US because it will not work on your UK games console. Games are like DVD's, they are regional, so buying the Disney Infinity Starter Pack Game in the US will not work when you bring it home.

The best thing to do is buy your Starter Game Pack in the UK but all the "extras" in the US. The figures, the power discs, etc. are not regional or console specific but the game itself is.

Tesco were offering £5 off on the Infinity Starter Pack. If you have a Smyths Toy store near you, they are cheaper on the extras except the power discs which are cheapest directly from the Disney Store.

The starter pack here is $79 and includes the game, the portal and the 3 characters. Sully, mr incredible and I can't remember the last one. I think it will prove to be popular as the toy store at DTD had it 2 days before general release and they had sold out within 2 days
