Disney infinity 2.0 figures

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you can just buy the game disc alone without the kit....You can however go to the nintendo eshop and they have a special for existing players(Infinity 1.0) where you can download the new software, 2.0 version, for $19.99 if you have a PS 3, 4 or Wii U, and $29.99 for xbox360. I don't think it's available for xbox one however.

We have a WiiU and I downloaded the new software last night. I didn't know before that this would be available so I bought the $75 Marvel starter pack. Now I can take that back and just buy the characters we want

Plus after you purchase the digital copy, if you then go to this link https://infinity.disney.com/console-download and attach a copy of your receipt, if you are one of the first 10,000 customers, you will receive the 2 disney original discs when they are released. All the information is noted via the link

I actually was just able to order Violet from Microsoft of all places for DS for Christmas since she has been his elusive figure.

Thanks so much for making my research so much easier. I am torn about buying, but it is DS favorite game. I really don't have room for MORE of those figures! I did it to myself though last year. I thought the figures were amazing, bought the game for DS1 (who doesn't like it at all) & SD2 fell in love. I still like the figures though, just not as many as there are & have the potential of becoming.

I heard a rumor that Infinity 3 is Star Wars. If so, I will be finding more space....rofl

Not officially, but most likely in August or September 2015.

Also, next week (starting 11/9) Target will be selling all videogames Buy-2-Get-1-Free. This discount will apply to Infinity figures. Might be a good way to stock up.

Or, you could take advantage of the buy 2 get one free deal while it's available, keep your receipt and if there is a better deal, you can take the others back...Win Win situation.

That's not a really good idea for me. I got my dad some pants for his birthday then decided to get something else. I still haven't returned them. His birthday was in August.

they would all use the same base so no need to buy toy box and infinity 2.0. Just buy the marvel set which has both the playset AND toy box mode and buy the Merida and stitch separately.

Not to change the original topic - but when I was at walmart last night, they had a huge bin full of the characters (1.0) for $5. They only had Woody & Toy Story, but the clerk said they marked them all down to make way for the new characters.

My Walmart had a bunch of the 1.0 figures last night, they were $12.99 each. Target also had for $13.99. I was expecting to see the clearance situation and was surprised to see it isn't so. Apparently, that is not so everywhere.

I find Marvel unappealing as well. I was telling DS I have no desire for 2.0 other than Donald Duck & maybe Tink. BUT.....

My kids don't like the Toy Box as well as the "crystal" games. They say it is harder to level up their characters and to get money/points to "buy" or open other items. Even the Minecrafter, who really doesn't like DI at all, will occasionally play the crystals with his brother. Maybe 1.0 would be better as the characters are more "Disney", but I wouldn't buy it at full price....

You will download it onto your console. I purchased ours for the WiiU on the nintendo eshop. I did it on the WiiU. After the purchase was complete, it gives you the option to download it. Click that and your done.

You can buy either the Merida set OR the Marvel set. Either one has the base that you need for the figures. The 1.0 and the 2.0 figures will work on the base. So from what your saying, I would buy the Merida 2.0 starter pack and it has everything you need to play. Then you can add the characters that you want from either the 1.0 infinity or the 2.0 infinity. They will all work. .
You can not however buy the original disney infinity starter set and use the 2.0 figures on that.

I didn't know the 1.0 ALL works on 2.0.

So if I have this right I can do a digital download of the new 2.0 game? And then just buy the characters I want, instead of buying the Starter pack? We already have Disney Infinity 1.0.

We have a PS3. Does anyone know where I would get the digital download from?
