Hello Fellow Disney addicts!

I have not posted in a long time but thought I might ask your opinions on something. My daughter has a lot of health issues and on Monday during her surgery they found out she has a heart issue as well. She has another surgery planned for January 22 so I think she deserves to go 3 times in a little over a year! While they were putting her under I said I would take her to Disney for her birthday (February 21) but that's President weekend and I refuse to go during busy times. I'm thinking feb 9-11 and take her to magic kingdom and a dinner with the princesses. Here in my issue 1) not sure if it will be chilly that time I the year.
2) we are planning to do a big family trip in November all 6 of us for 10 days. And don't want to take away from that.
3) not sure if I should do Cinderella's table or the 1600 dinner? Any thoughts?

Hope everything goes well!
February is hit or miss. Last year the same week, it was very warm. One day we hit a record high of 89. The average is 72. It does get colder at night fast after the sun goes down. There have been a few colder days too - our arrival day in 2012 did not get out of the 40's, but it warmed up after that. I would just check weather.com and keep an eye on the 10 day forecast which is what we do. And plan on dressing on layers.
We haven't tried CRT yet but are going for breakfast next trip. We were disappointed in 1900 PF for dinner, but many people love it. The characters looked great but we were there an hour and not 1 of the 5 characters had made it to our side of the restaurant yet and it wasn't mobbed.
Enjoy and best wishes!

We've been in February several times and like the PP pointed out, the weather can be iffy. We've been and its been sunny and warm and other times it's been cold and rainy. Just make sure to pack clothes for both types of weather.

My question is will she be up to WDW so soon after surgery? What if you think she will be and she is not, very disappointing. Could you push it back and go right before the surgery? We have been the very end of January a few times and it's really a toss up. We have had shorts weather and have had coats and glove weather. Winter in Florida is short so the later in February you can go the warmer it may be. That said, we have only had one winter trip where it was too cold to truly enjoy everything. If its in the budget, I think this special trip deserves the castle. No way can an extra mother/daughter trip take away from another trip. Enjoy. Prayers for your DD!

Best to pack warm clothes as well to be safe. I am not sure going that soon after heart surgery is a good idea. It takes 6 weeks to fully heal otherwise she could hemorrhage and bleed out. The "G" forces on a body when a plane takes off could have an impact on her chest cavity
