Disney in May?

We are planning a trip to Disney in May, Is May a good time to go, the crowds & weather? Is Mother's Day crowded? When do most people go to Disney for Memorial Day, the week before or the weekend before? Thanks for your help.

I'm anxious for a reply too, we are going from May 31 to June
7 and we haven't been there in the spring before.

Keep me in mind if you are interested in going during that time
we are in a two bedroom but my sister cancelled and we have
a one bedroom for the entire week we are renting.

We were there in May 2001 for two weeks. Mother's Day was our second day there. It was great! The crowds were thin, the weather was perfect.

I believe most people would go the week after Memorial Day, because of school schedules. In the south, schools let out around the end of May. Although recently there has been a push to start early August and get out early May.

There are still enough schools that let out late May or early June, so you're picking a good time.
