Disney in May

How is the weather in May? Will we be o-kay in t-shirts, or will we need tank tops?

We went the last week of May this year and it was in the mid to upper 80's. So, pretty warm but nowhere near as hot as it is down there right now.

we also went last may..we usually go in june or july so it was much cooler than what we are used to but we did have one really warm day (high 80s) but we all packed shorts and tshirts and tank tops and wore the tanks during the day and tshirts at night. i brought a pair of capris that i wore on the plane and 2 long sleve zipper hoodies (thin ones) that i could easily pack in my backpack to have at night or if it was cold in a restaurant but we never needed to wear pants which was nice

We went in May 7 years ago and I would go that time of year again. It's warmer but not way too hot and the crowds weren't too bad either, we went before Memorial Day. I think I did both t-shirts and tank tops and either shorts or a skirt. It was great swimming weather too!!

We went the first week of May and it was wonderful. We usually go in June and the weather was much nicer. We all wore shorts and t-shirts, a couple of days the girls (both 2 yrs old) and I wore sleeveless shirts and they were fine.

We went the second week in May this year........ the weather was wonderful!! We wore tank tops w/out problems, but could have worn just t-shirts. It was in the low 90's I think... Much nicer then the HOT HOT weather in later months. If we go again we will probably do May again. We only had rain the first day we got there and it ended by the time we got to the hotel!

I'm sure whenever you go, you will have a great time!

i am going the frist week of may and was told to bring a light sweater for the evenings . i was told you may not need it but you will have it. i can not wait to go.

We went yeeeears ago but had a cool front come through and needed a light sweatshirt or sleeve in the evening. you may not need it but it wouldn't hurt to pack one for everybody. I know it got pretty costly to buy one for everyone on our trip.

We are going the first week of May too (May 3 thru May 10, 2008)!! We are staying at Pop and can't wait either! It is driving me crazy

Just went this past May 13-19 2007 and it was so wonderful that we are planning to go back next year May 10-17 2008!!

During the day it was in the mid 80's and then it would cool down into the 70's in the evenings. We never needed pants or sweaters! It was calling for thunderstorms everyday of our trip and we never got one!! It rained just one evening for about 1.5 hours and that was about it!

Only 9 Months until MAY 2008 !!!

We have gone in May the past 2 years and think it is a perfect time. It is warm but not too bad. I think our hottest days are always in AK. I think because that park is more congested maybe We have had heat issues there so we just make sure to dress really cool and lots of water and mister fans!

We have been to WDW three years in a row in early May, and for the most part the temps have been in the mid 80's, so yes, definately bring shorts and tank tops. In the evening I would put my daughter in maybe something a little nicer - like capris and a t-shirt, but if my two little boys still wanted to wear tank tops I let them, it was fine. I guess if you were out later in the evening and you or your children are the type that gets cold easily you could possibly need a light jacket for a restaurant or if it did get chilly outside. May weather is beautiful. Have a great time.

We have been going every May for the past 11 years, (usually around May 7,and stay for two weeks) and sometimes it is REALLY hot, and sometimes, it's a little bit chilly. This past year, we needed jackets a few days.
