I'm thinking about goin in late January ... 21-28 or so. I was wondering what the weather is like typically and if the decorations for christmas are still up.

I was there Feb 1-4 this year. One day I wore a short sleeve T with jeans and put on a fleece at night. Next 3 days it was a long sleeve T under a short sleeve T with a fleece in the evening. Oh and it rained cats & dogs 1 day (but is unusual) so I needed a poncho that day as well as the change of pants, socks & shoes we had in the locker.

My sister and I went in early January this year and last year. Last year, we were told the Christmas decorations were coming down the next day. Maybe Jan. 6th? We wore pants and needed a sweatshirt at night. Hope this helps.

We always go in Jan/Feb (farming family, it's the only time we can). This last year was the earliest we've been, our first day was Jan. 6th. They still had Christmas decorations up the on the 7th and then by early on the 8th EVERYTHING was gone! LOL They're quick!

We love it during Jan/Feb. Never too hot, usually the weather is just perfect. Some days the last few years have been a bit chilly (like pack a sweatshirt with you weather) and the nights can be cold, but it's SO much warmer overall than back here in the Northwest in the winter!!!! We usually get a day or two of rain during the 8-9 days we're there and don't really mind it at all, it just means shorter lines.
