I need tips for disney world in February. My senior class is doing our senior tip in february. I need tips on just bout everything. Help!!!!

UPDATE: I am going Feb. 14 thru Feb 18. The only days we get to go to the parks are the 15,16,and 17. We have park hoppers and we get to pick where we go each day. Lunch is on us and our school pays for breakfast and dinner. Our dinners are Rain Forest, Hard Rock Cafe and Planet Hollywood.I have been to disney world before but only during July. I kinda need ideas on what to pack, crowds, good walk ups for lunch. Our last day in the parks they give us $25 to eat on and I was gonna try to save money and do a sit down that day. I just have to make sure we can pick parks like they said.

Well don't go to Florida expecting it to be sunny and warm in Feb. Florida does see its fair share of cold temps. That being said pack warm clothes. Dress in layers because the days might be a bit warm like 60 degrees but once the sun goes down so do the temps. The temps could be as colds as 40.
We have gone many many many times in Feb and we always pack a coat with strechy gloves and a hat. Two years ago it was so cold that the sprinklers that come on during the night had turn things into ice sculptures.

Oh as far as crowds it will be very crowded that week because a lot of schools in the New England states have a winter break in Feb, its the week of the Daytona 500 race and a lot of race fans go to Disney. There is also a twill mania competion that is held every year during Presidents week. The yearly cochelear impant convention occurs during this week. So use the fast pass options for the popular things.

Actually Presidents Day is the 21st and the 500 is a week later this year than normal.

As far as Winter break that ends Jan 8th and Spring Break dosent start till March 16-24th .Most all of florida schools are on the same schedule with the eception of full year schools Right now our weather is 81 my kids are riding bikes in shorts and t shirts. cooler weather dosent hit here till around mid jan - the end of feb. It is always best to check the weather a week before you are going to go. We stashed sweatshirts and gloves in the lockers instead of dragging them around with us. you can look up mousesavers.com or intercot. com for places to eat throughout disney on the cheap side along with other tips and hints not mentioned here. if you need more help you can message me ;)
forgot to mention I am 3 hrs south of Disney

We went in February in 2009 and 2010 and planned it so it was not President's week or Daytona 500 week. The crowds were not bad at all. That week is free dining so getting an ADR to some sit down restaurants my be a challenge but if you walk up it might be OK.

I will second dressing in layers, that's the biggest key. It can be 30 degrees at rope drop and 60-70 degrees at 3-4 in the afternoon. If there is a sudden drop in temperature on a given day, there can be a run on warm clothes in the stores and the selection can shrink quickly.

We rented a locker each day to store layers that are removed during the day and we put a blanket or two in there in the morning for evening parades.
