I am taking my 2 year old granddaughter and her mom who is a former cast member to wdw in Dec. I think movies is the best bet for a 2 year old and we will be doing dining, is there a better building to book and is there a view of fireworks from any of the value resorts?

My family and I stayed at ASMo in 2000. Toy Story is a really good section to stay in for kids. It's close enough to the food court and bus stops, and the Fantasia pool, and it's really cute. Huge statues of Buzz and Woody, green army men on the roofs, we loved it! Fantasia section would probably be a good bet, too. I think it's booked as a preferred location and costs a little more.

I know you said you were interested in AS resorts, but you can see the fireworks from Epcot at Pop Century from one of the 50's buildings. Of course, if she is only 2, she probably won't be awake to see them at 9:15 in December--or maybe she's a night owl! We loved being able to see Illuminations every night when we were back in the room, and when the breeze was right, you could even hear some of the music.
