Disney in December

What would the crowds be like from December 16-23? I know they get crowded at the end of the month but not sure how early.

We were there a few years ago during those exact dates and crowd level was not to bad. So we decided to try the 23 through the New Year the following year. Night Mare for crowd levels. Elbow to elbow as the days got closer to the New Year. But I loved every min. I will definitely do both time frames again.
Prefer the week before Christmas though....
