I have been taking my family to disney for the past 5 years the 3rd week of June. As a surprise this year I am planning a trip for December 14th - 19th. Can anyone tell me what differences I should expect. I know it should be much cooler but is there anythig else that will be a major difference. I also got us tickets to the MVMCP are there any other special events that I would need tickerts for?

I'll be there from the Dec 8 to 16 for the Christmas season!!! :santa: It will be our first time during Christmas, but I've done a lot of research in preparation for our trip...so there are the Christmas decorations everywhere at the parks and in the resorts, you could even order a Christmas tree from the Disney Florist and have one in your room. Along with MVMCP, there is the Candlelight processional at Epcot, also at MGM there are the Osborne Family Lights, special parades. Oh yeah and at Epcot all the different countries are decorated according to their culture and traditions at this time of the year. Like I said, I haven't been there yet at this time, but it seems like the magic will be kicked up an extra knot making WDW even more special. Outside of Disney there is ICE at Gaylord Palms (a resort), that features ice sculptures and slides made out of ice. I hope this has helped. There is more information and pictures on the dis' info site.
