Thanks for all the responses!
So I'm feeling that the crowds should be moderate, which is WAY better than 'way too crowded'! According to another website (I forget the name, but I found it here somewhere), crowds should be a 5 04/23 & 04/24, then a 3 the rest of the week (10 being busiest). Can anyone tell me what this means as far as wait times for attractions like Spash Mountsin, Runaway Railroad, stuff like that? Thanks again!

Depends on time, day and weather. Try this site:

I love going in April! We have gone 2xs in April and loved it weather was great! You may want to p[ack an umbrella or two April Showers! We were there one time in April it poured half the day then was gorgeous! Lots of mini showers the sun will be out it will rain a few secs then the sun will be back out like it never happened! But sometimes it feels pretty good! We are going in November this year! Want to try something different we will probably resort back to April as we always do! Love April in Disney! :earsboy:

This will be our third April...and we love it!!! :cool1:

Warm sun, little rain and the crowds do not seem overwhelming!!!

About three weeks till we hit the road.

Everyone enjoy your trips!!! :jumping1:

April 22,23,29, and 30

We'll be going April 24 thru May 4th. :sunny: I have a feeling it will be a bit more crowded the last week of April this year as opposed to other years. But still not as crowded as the summer months.

Hi, First time forum user and first time to WDW. We are going April 15-23. Anyone know how crowded it might be that week? Learned lots of great tips on this site. We're going this week because my daughter is out of school this week. I hope not all schools in the country are out this week! LOL :earboy2: I will be staying outside the park. Great Palms area. Any more tips would be appreciated. Thanks all!! Wayne

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find what the various WDW parks will be open during our April stay if you are staying on property (The Poly)? Early Magic Hours? and Which park will stay open 3 hours later on a particular day for registered guests?

Wayne, we are going the same time as you (16-23). From everything I have read I am expecting the crowds to be moderate. Most schools are off this week in Mass, also I think maybe some in Upstate NY as well. I have heard before that there are alot of New Englanders down this time of year. I was there last March and it was very crowded at that time, so after that I dont think April will be too bad. Have a great time!!
