I remember seeing a disney special about a really neat looking ice parlor. Is that at Disneyworld by any chance? I figured the boardwalk would have one. Does anyone know if there is a true Ice cream parlor at Disneyworld?

Are you thinking of Beaches and Cream? If you are, it's great (worth the wait). We get the Kitchen Sink, it's big though, 7 of us eat it, and super yummy! We get it every trip, it isn't Disney without getting it once.

You could be referring to Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club Resort. Place is tiny, but has great food (burgers, fries and such) and great ice cream sundaes, including the "kitchen sink", which is huge and should be shared with 10 of your closest friends or family.

The restaurant does not take ADRs and can pretty crowded at meal times. I would go at opening, about 11am or later in the day, after dinner.

But if you try to go when Epcot closes, you will meet up with a huge crowd. If you get there before Illuminations, it might not be as crowded.

We went to Beaches and Cream at 11am the Saturday before Easter and got seated right away. I definitely suggest going at an off time. (It was packed by the time we left around 12:30)
