We are staying at SSR but we will arrive 1 day early. We were thinking about staying at Pop Centry. But we have 5 people in our party. Of the them are under the age of 7. How strict are they on the 4 person in a room. We only need it for one night. I would hate to book a room then when we get there they get all crappy with us and we not have a room. We don't want to pay a ton for a room since we already have paid for SSR. Plus, we will not have a car so staying off site isn't really an option.

Don't have your entire party roll up to the check in counter, and you should be fine. It will be tight in that room, and I guess one of the kids will be sleeping on the floor?

(DISCLAIMER: I am not condoning doing this.) :)

Disney is very strick about occupancy levels - you are allowed 4 in a room at Pop a fifth only if one is under 3 years old.

And the DISBoards will not condone any posts that advocate breaking the rules at Disney.

It seems your best bet would be to try for Port Orleans Riverside in one of the rooms with a trundle bed - that would allow 5 people.

You did not mention when you are going - but be sure to checkout the discount section of the site to see what you might be able to take advantage of

We are going Sept 1. We just don't want to spend a bunch of cash if we don't have to for 1 night. I will have to look into Port Orleans.

I just checked online and POR is available for $145 a night plust tax = $164.

I could not find availability with a discount on linie - but you might get it if you call?
