Disney Hotel Info

I'm tentatively planning a trip to Disneyland in April and was wondering if anyone can give me the best way to get the best deal at a Disneyland Hotel. I won't be able to book probably until February so I know I'm cutting it close. Expedia had okay rates for the Paradise Pier, but I need to get as low as possible as this is only a small part of a pretty long cross country vacation so I need to try to budget. However, staying at one of the Disneyland hotels has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl so if I could stay there it would be great!

I have gotten a good price at the Disneyland hotel by waiting until a week or two before my trip. I book a motel that I am happy with and then check Expedia daily as the final 3 weeks approch. I check numerous times a day and sometimes the price will suddenly drop.

When you say the prices "drop" what type of price are you able to get? I am going next week and I really want to say at one of the disney resorts but 139.00 for the PPH and disneyland hotel is 149.00. Is this as low as you have seen it or do I have a chance that it might drop lower? TIA

That is about as low as they go generally. I have read of people getting $129 at the Disneyland Hotel and $79 at Paradise Pier with Annual Passes. Keep checking all the different travel sites and perhaps a great price will pop up.

Thanks so much daannzzz! I will keep checking. I think that I will be staying at the peacock suites for 59.00 plus tax. I just can't justify the addtional $$. Maybe next year!

We weren't impressed with Paradise Pier. I was just like staying at a chain hotel. Also no on site laundry.
