Hi everyone! My fiance and I just started planning our dis honeymoon for early June and I'm not quite sure where to start! I have been about four times before but he has NEVER been at all! Any tips or tricks to help us get started?

Congratulations! :goodvibes I always start planning by choosing a resort, and since it's your honeymoon, you might want to splurge or just try one you've always wanted to. We ended up hotel-hopping to four different places over two weeks because I wanted to try so many, but if I'd had to pick just one resort, it would have been the Beach Club. I thought its proximity to Epcot (our favorite park), the activities of the BoardWalk, and its water-park-like pool area made it a great home base. You're close to two of the parks, but there's plenty to do around the resort if you just want to relax.

The next step might be to decide which parks you want to go to on which days, but be sure to leave some days in between for relaxing. And once you know your touring plan, it's easier to figure out what restaurants to try.

From there you can sprinkle in special experiences or events that you might not ordinarily do on a typical "commando park tour" trip, like recreational activities, tours, or dining events.

Hope this helps!

Thank you so much! We decided on Coronado Springs (our first choice was the polynesian but it was booked) so now just to figure the rest of it out! We agreed on the deluxe dining plan as well but he wants to eat at restaurants that I haven't experienced (not an easy feat!) lol. I think our first night we will be eating at Marrakesh in Morrocco (he's excited about Epcot) any reccomendations or experiences at this restaraunt?

We loved Marrakesh! DH and I both had what we referred to as the "sampler platter." It had several small portions of a few different foods.

When going to a new place, it's also nice to order two different things and then share your plates with each other.

Since you're staying at Coronado Springs, I would recommend Maya Grill. We both really enjoyed our meal there in July.

^^ What she said! Sharing multiple dishes is a great idea (though on our honeymoon I admit we split one dish most of the time to save money). My favorite dish at Restaurant Marrakesh is the Seafood Bastilla appetizer, which I have them double to make an entree!
