Hey Ladies,

Question have any of you used the honeymoon registry or plan on it? I am planning on providing my bridal party with the insert for the bridal shower invites and as I know they will be having the bridal shower sometime in May/June I want to start them! Have any of you provided this info for your guests in terms of a registry and if so how did you word it? I am also going to put a plan B that gift cards are eligible at Disney stores as many people are saying they have had issues with the site and I was also told it really only works on Internet Explorer...any thoughts? I am planning on buying vellum paper and just making them on my printer...

Our research on wedding etiquette indicates to never ever share your registry details on any part of the bridal or wedding invites. Instead, have a link to your registry on your wedding website that includes other important wedding information. We changed from a Disney honeymoon registry to Traveler's Joy honeymoon registry because they are a partner with The Knot and WeddingChannel.com making it even easier for gift givers to find our registry. They also have an 'instant registry' for Disney World!

I am going to do both, Travelers Joy and Disney Honeymoon as well!

My girls asked me to put something on paper for the Bridal invites, I know someone has to have done it....I just need help with the wording!

I can help with this....lots of our relatives coming to the wedding do not use email regularly :confused3, or didn't have an email account at all. We did not have a formal bridal shower so the only real way to send our registration information was to make up little cards, print them out and put them in with our invitations.

It may have been tacky but we didn't see any other way of doing it. My DH copied and pasted the Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons logo and put it at the top then we used this wording:

The bride and groom are pleased to announce that they have registered with Disney's Honeymoon Registry. Their registry information can be found under (here is where we added our names and the registry link).....http://www.disneyhoneymoonregistry.com

Then he added a small picture of the cinderella carriage at the bottom. We put a black border around it and then printed them off on card-stock paper.

HTH :goodvibes

Yes, that sounds wonderful! Like I said we will be doing both Disney Honeymoon and Travelers as Disney's site can be a bit wonky...absolutely helpful, thanks so much!
