Day 6
Cast:
Dave, Freda, Devon, Mickey and Rene'
Left room early again for coffee and people watching and journalling.
Chatted with some people from the UK. I tell you those people really love Disney because they are everywhere here. Who is at home guarding the Queen and her jewels?
Lets see if the troops are up yet.
Oh, Dave has joined me for coffee.
Today we were supposed to be moving to Music, but we are too lazy to move. Dave asked me to see if this can be arranged. Spent only 15 min getting that done. Thank you CM Katya. This is way better than spending half and day checking out and then in again. Back to room. Kids STILL sleeping! It's 9:30! Ok finally up.
We headed to Crossroads area to see if we could find that Steak and Shake. Great Burgers, everyone else had breakfast. Nice and juicy, everything else looked OK. Still spent about 40$ after buying a t-shirt.
Headed towards I- drive to finally hit the character warehouses at Belz. Bought lots of little gifts and everyone was happy. Spent too much, of course. This was a great day to shop as it was raining.
Back to Movies. Decided to stop at Music to see what we missed. Strolled around and realized we really love Movies. Took some pictures.
Dave now took the kids swimming while I was still on a shopping role!! The clouds had cleared, still a bit cool but the kids didn't care. At DTD I bought myself a mouse-ears cookie cutter and some pins. Had such a nice time watching the sunset and feeling the breeze in my face, I'm Queen of the world!!
We decided to meet at DTD and head for supper from here. We caught another boat to Port Orleans. It was another thing on my to do list, resort hop. Here we used 2 vouchers and got the ribs. Very good. Side of fries for Mick!
Interesting resort and cool cotton press wheel thing. Browsed the shops a bit and took the bus back to DTD. Well the family did anyway. I realized I forgot my package at the shop when I was looking at a pressed penny machine. Oops! Ran back for that.
Back at DTD. Went into market place for awhile. Dave and Devon when into the Lego store. The girls and I went to McDonalds to see if they still had that flavored ice cream. No butterscotch like last time, so got one vanilla and one tropical orange. Took the west side bus back to Movies. Dave chatted with a bus driver originally from Chicago. Said he loved his job.
Dicided to try to do AK and Epcot in one day tomorrow. No, I would never recommend doing this for the first time or when its busy. But we were willing to give it a try. I'm not much for AK and animals anyway.
Straight to bed. Love that sleep!
