of course, Main Street USA and the Castle, however, I also love at the Studios sitting on benches in front of the Chinese Theater, munching on popcorn, listening to the "movie music".

My Disney happy place is actually on the road going into Disney, when you first see the Welcome To Disney World sign. THAT'S when it sinks in that I'm really there - & I feel like I'm "home" again!

Main Street USA, especially at night. The Polynesian, on the beach. The GF while the band is playing. World Showcase. Most importantly, Cindy's Wishing Well as that is where my fiancee proposed to me

Main St. USA, and the Enchanted Tiki Room. (It brings back memories of when we first went to WDW back in 1971.)

My happy place is definitely "It's a Small World." I know most people can't stand it but when I sit in that little boat it immediately transports me to my childhood and suddenly I am sitting beside my grandfather and he's singing along with me and I am utterly, completely at peace. I tear up just thinking about it.

Our favorite place is Maintstreet with all the smells permeating the air from the candy shop and bakery. Wish the camcorder had smell-o-vision for our friends back home. And there is nothing like a late night ride on Haunted Mansion..
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.

My Disney Happy Place has to be Casey's Corner! I dream of those hotdogs, they're sooooo good! You just do not get anything like that in the UK!

I also LOVE Pirates of the Caribbean and standing next to the AT-AT walker outside Star Tours (that's still there... right?)!

Main Street/Castle peeps are all correct though; that view when you come in and stare straight up Main Street is amazing! It really makes you feel welcome

I love-love-loved Minnie's House ...especially the garden room! I would have rathered win a night there tahn in Cinderella's castle! It just had so much sweetness.

Other happy places...the Jungle Cruise que (all the detailed, silly signs,) the Alladin ride during fireworks, O'hana, the Mexico Pavillion, the Laugh Floor que, the TSM que, the Poly beach, a short wait for a bus ...so many!

My happy place is Soarin'. I swear when I listen to the music, I can even smell the oranges at the appropriate spot. I am sooo looking forward to riding it FRIDAY! Yay!

I agree with the OP...my happy place is the world showcase at night. It's perfect to wander around with all the lights and scenery lit up beautifully. The last hour before Illuminations is best - the ambient music playing (Busindre Reel by Hevia is the best song...look it up on Youtube!), the torches are lit, a strong breeze blowing... I like being in Canada near the waterfall and in Japan (the breeze is best here). If you're slightly tipsy and things are a little fuzzy, all the better!

A runner-up happy place would be the Adventurer's Club....Kungaloosh!

Mine would have to be WS after Illuminations when everyone is leaving. If you take the long way around it feels almost empty. It's so relaxing and nice; a good way to end the day.

I also love, for some odd reason, the area between M:S and Ellen at the old Wonders of Life pavilion. It's sad in a way, but I loved that particular area of the park, and it never has any people around it. It's a nice space to just relax and listen to the ambient music.

The minute I walk through the gates at Magic Kingdom and see Main Street and all of the people, the shops, and the Castle. My heart just soars!

But, the thing I love most at Disney, where I go to feel like I'm really really there are all the cares in my world are gone.... The American Presidents in Liberty Square. My DD calls me a dork coz I tear up every time I listen to the Abe Lincoln monologue. I just love it!!
