Disney Happy Place

What is your Disney Happy Place? I have a couple of Disney Happy places. one of them is in World Showcase in EPCOT. I love just wandering through each country at leisure and really soaking up the atmospshere. I especially love world showcase at night when things are especially magical. Another one of my disney happy places would probably be in magic kingdom right by the castle. I love the gorgeous flowers and the whole area all arund the castle and leading up to casey's on main street U.S.A. My last few Disney happy places would probably be in the resort category. the contemporary, grand floridian, polynesian, and the wilderness lodge. i have so many great memories of each of these resorts and love spending at least one evening or morning at these resorts. just thinking of them is making me so happy . I have many more places in disney that i enjoy alot and always wish i could spend more time at as well but those places that I mentioned are even more special to me. can't wait to hear what your places are

I have to agree...there is nothing like seeing that Castle...that's when it hits me that I'm really at Disney. WOW.

I have such great memories of this as a child & couldn't wait to take my little man there. He was 2 when we first went & now this is one of his faves too! I know it's not the newest or most technologically advanced feature in Disney but to us.....it's just magical

My DHP (Disney Happy Place) is the dancing waters on the path between FW and WS in Epcot. Such awesome memories from last year when me, DH and DSthen 4 were the only ones there for a good 15-20 minutes. My little guy just had the time of his life there.

My DD loves that water play area in Epcot, too. After our first experience there I learned to pack extra clothes to change her after she gets drenched. LOL It's a great place for her to run around and cool off and just have a blast.

I love all the park icons. I love getting behind Spaceship Earth and taking pictures with the fountains going in front of it. I love the castle, especially at night when it changes colors.

Magic Kingdom is my happy place. Anywhere in that park and I am happy. I love that place. I love Wishes. It is amazing. I want to see the Halloween version someday. I have heard on here that it is even better.

We just got back over a week ago and I am dying to start planning our next trip. We have a baby coming in July (about 8 weeks left!) and I can't decide if I want to try for a trip next year or wait until 2013. DH wants to wait. I don't want to wait that long! Maybe I can convince him a Fall 2012 trip would be good, but we were thinking about spring 2013 for our 10th anniversary. We could do both and get annual passes and that would probably save money....just have to convince DH. LOL

My "Happy Place" is sitting in a lounge chair at Blizzard Beach or floating around the lazy river. (The smell of all the suntan lotion) Standing on main street at MK and seeing the Castle for the first time and at the end of the day watching the fire works. Can't wait until September!!!

1. PP Flight - a must do even though I'm 53

2. Contemporary Resort Atrium - the mosaic tile work brings back decades old wonderful feelings, as well s watching the monorail stream through. Our emotional tie to the CR atmosphere (we've never actually stayed in the CR) is the reason we made BLT our home resort.

3. Adventure's Club - alas only in the deep confines of my memory, and some great family videos.

My happy place is in the gift shop of Pirates of the Caribbean. That has always been my favorite ride, and when I am there I know I am home!!

My happy place is the view down Main Street and riding Spaceship Earth . Closing my eyes and thinking of both always brings a smile to my face. Can't wait until my trip in August!

Walking down Main Street toward the Castle is the first thing I need to do when we arrive and the last thing I need to do before we leave WDW! I get weepy every time we leave. My kids just accept the tears now and know that they are coming.

My DH happy place is settling into our home at BCV because he knows he is just a short walk to ESPN Zone.

My Disney happy place is that first full view you get of the castle as you walk down Main Street. Love it!! I also love catching glimpses of the castle all lit up in beautiful colors at night while I'm riding Splash Mountain. Oh, and the entrance music at Epcot!!
