So far I have been through about 5 different books on Disney. Now I am considering these two and wondered if anyone has read them and what they think of them:

The Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide by Beth Howarth

Disney on a Dime : Money-Saving Secrets for Your Walt Disney World Vacation (Paperback)
by Chris Carlson

I've thought about buying both of those several times, (i was flipping thru them again ay my bookstore just yesterday) and they just don't seem the right type of guides for me. Although I am a disney guide freak and I read them like novels, i just can't get into those 2 yet b/c Disney is the one (or two) times a year I can just go, do what I like and not worry about money. I don't go wild, but its a total stress free environment at disney for me (the only stress free weeks I get all year), if I do go over budget then that's just a little to pay off when I get home before I can start planning the next trip.

I have Disney on a Dime. Unless you really need to go to the max to save money on your trip to be able to go to WDW, I don't recommend it. For me, I would have been better off saving the money I spent on the book.

Signing up for AAA and getting a discount on our rooms was the best advise I got, and I got that here on the DIS boards!
