I got a strange email yesterday that said it was to me because I was an upcoming guest to WDW. There were no official Disney icons, or "letter head" or anything. It said it was from David someboby-or-other.

There was a link to click on to take a survey--I deleted it because it seemed suspicious to me.

Anyone else get one of these???

I just saw another thread a few days ago here and it said it was a virus. Good thing you deleted it. It was something from disney.go that contained the virus.

I went back and read that thread, but it was sent to just those with Disney.go email addresses. I just have regular old MSN.

Might still be the same thing though.

I think it was for real a survey. I have gotten them in the past, when I was going, or when I came back. There is no "letter head" in the email. Just the explanation of the survey and the link. It came from Disney.com, not Go.

I just got this but did NOT click on the link. Wanted to check it out first. I was very suspicious. The David persons address is @theresearch.com if I click on properties.
Anyone know for sure?? We did just return from another trip and stayed at a WDW resort.

The Research dot Com is a legit marketing research group. They list The Walt Disney Company as a client. If you feel like it's a scam/virus./spoof, then delete it. All that will happen is your opinion won't be recorded at that company.

I got it also. But twice! also one from yahoo. Didn't open any of them. The one from the David person had some very strange symbol type of font in spots. It just didn't look right.

I got it today. It was a survey. I took it. Lasted about 10 minutes. My computer is fine.

ebaynut-were they questions about the resorts and/or the parks?
I also wondered about the strange symbols....
