Disney Guest Services Ticket Pickup Question

Two years ago, I purchased WDW tickets from Tickets At Work for a planned trip. We ended up going on a DCL vacation instead, so I still have my vouchers for five day park hopper tickets for our family of 5. I will be in Orlando in a few weeks and plan to go to Disney Springs for a day. Can I take my vouchers to Guest Services in DTD and pick up the physical Disney Park Tickets? I'm pretty certain that I can, but my real question is if I pick them up now, are they going to be tickets that expire at the end of 2018? We don't have a trip planned, and it is unlikely that we'll be back before the end of 2018, but I'd like to have the tickets in hand in case the voucher system for scheduling FP ever changes with the Tickets at Work etickets that I have.

I have not yet called Guest Services to ask the question about whether my tickets will expire or not if I pick them up now, but I'm nervous about mis-information that cast members occasionally give out that even if they provide me with a favorable answer about the tickets not expiring, can I trust them?

TIA!

Someone with more knowledge than I will be along to answer soon, I'm sure, but my advice would be to not trade those vouchers in until you're ready to use them. I do believe the ones you trade them in for will have an expiration date, and, while they will hold the value that they have on the day you get them, you'd be better off waiting, so that you don't have to trade the actual tickets in for new ones and have to pay the price difference. (I hope that makes sense? If not, I can try to re-word it)

1. Yes.
2. Yes.
3. OK, that'll be fine. But, I see no reason to do so.
4-6. You should be nervous about "phone CM" answers.

Ha. Thank you both for your responses. Very helpful. I'll just hang on to the etickets for now. I guess I'm not sure what makes me feel better about physical ticket cards. Maybe it's just because at this point we don't have a trip currently planned. Appreciate the help!
