Disney Grocery Delivery

Thanks this does help. We have always had a car and grocery shopped ourselves. In fact one time we took ME and then rented a car, because the buses were so crowded and DH was tired of riding them. (It was the end of Thanksgiving week) But with gas so high, and we are not going to do Dining Plan, we are considering just taking ME. Plus, I think the time we save not having to shop is worth the extra $$$. So thanks for the help.

We just got back from 5 nights at AKLV and used Garden Grocer (our first experience with having groceries delivered). We were very satisfied. We didn't have to be there for the delivery and AKLV stored our groceries for us until we checked-in (they have a big fridge).

I have been meaning to post this since we returned from our trip on Saturday. Marge and Amy (her assistant) were terrific! This is the first time we have used a delivery service, we always use DME and purchased the Dining Plan and it did not make sense for us to take a limo with a grocery stop just for the few items that we need to get us through the week (breakfast items, beer and wine).

Marge was extremley helpful even with the 2nd delivery at 1/2 price (only beer and water.) They called to verify that they were getting us the right item and passed on any savings from the grocery store (buy-one-get-one-free Entenmans Doughnuts). One, I don't think we will use the DDP again, and 2 we will always call Marge for our staples. Lots of savings involved!!!

Really they were very easy to work with and extremely helpful!!

Thanks for this post. We are planning to use Wegoshop for our upcoming trip. We scheduled a delivery time months ago and they seemed VERY nice.

I thought the convience of using the service would be worth the fees since we are going with family from Ohio and meeting up there-don't want to go shopping for 8 on the first day of my vacation. We have been passing "the list" for additions. Our group is made up of 4 adults, 2tweens,one 8year old and a 5 year old.


Can I ask you a few questions?
When did you send Marge your list?
What stores did you request?
Did you find yourself "over ordering" or had a lot of things left over?
Was the 2nd trip due to under ordering or did ya'll just get really thirsty
What kind of meals did you make-we are thinking-tacos one night, pasta another.
Any "cool" hints you may offer would be greatly appreciated.
