Well, we are back from our vacation. I was able to play two of the courses.
I played the Palm course on 3/20 and the Magnolia course on 3/23 and I have to say I liked Magnolia better. Course, thats because I played much better. I did the two round package for $199.00 and I could choose any of the courses to play.

Palm on 3/20 was an 8:44 tee time. Got off pretty close to on time. Played with a group of 3 guys. They were pretty decent guys and we all played about the same. On the #2 hole saw a gator swimming up close to the green. He didnt bother any of us. Layout of the course is nice. Nothing really stood out to me as spectacular. Ended up shooting a nasty 50 on the front side and a 44 on the back side.

Magnolia on 3/23 was a 11:44 tee time. Got off on time, but it was cart path only due to the T-storm that happened that morning. Lots of rain but that meant I had course pretty much to myself. Played much better this day. Probably due to the Chef Mickeys breakfast with the family. Really liked the layout. Made you think about what club to use. Several par 4's I use a 5 wood to tee off. Didn't really like the 7ft gator on the bank near the 16th green. That sucker gave me the creeps!!!! The #6 Par 3 with the Mickey "mousetrap" is really cool. Got a birdie on that. Stuck the tee shot from 195 yrds about 7 feet from the pin. Ended up shooting a 44 on the front side, 43 on the back and was lucky enough to go do the front side again and got another 43. Thank you to the starter who let me go again.

Next time, Ill try out the Eagle Pines, Osprey Ridge, and Lake Buena Vista Courses.

Thanks for posting on this!!! DH and father want to play this fall and this review may help them make their decision as to which course to play!!!

I've played most of the courses at Disney and the Lake Buena Vista course is still my favorite. Part of it has to do with it's location on the property. It meanders through Old Key West, which is where we usually stay during visits. My wife will meet us on the course near our room and refill the cooler with beers. I'm looking forward to playing the one course I haven't played, Osprey Ridge, when we are there next week.

I was staying at POFQ. We took the boat from Downtown and went past LBV course. The water hole #16 I think looks like fun. I wanted to get back out there and that would have been the course.
Another time we took the boat from POFQ to Downtown and there was a foursome teeing off on that hole. They waited until we got past. Still managed to watch 2 of them raise the Sassagoula River.

LBV will be the next course I play.
