I am going to arrange a tee time for my dad and FIL at either Lake Buena Vista or Palms golf course. Does anyone have any opinions on wither of these courses? I don't know how to choose!

Lucky guys! I've played all the courses there, and I'm pretty sure they'll enjoy playing either of those two courses. Both courses offer 2 or 3 different tee boxes which allows them to play the courses at whatever yardage suits their games. The middle or "white" tees on both courses are considered challenging enough even for decent golfers. Lake Buena Vista is the shorter of the two courses, but it's also fairly tight, which puts a premium on accuracy. It meanders through the Old Key West resort, Saratoga Springs, with a brief glimpse of the Port Orleans French Quarter resort on the back nine. If you're staying at any of the Epcot area resorts, it's defintely more convenient than the Palm. If your dad and FIL are short but accurate hitters, I think they'll enjoy LBV. The PGA Tour used to play that course in their annual Disney tournament in October, but it became too easy for them. Now they only play the Palm and Magnolia. The Palm is a little longer than LBV, measuring about 6400 yards from the white tees, but they could play it from the yellow tees and still have a test. It is a PGA Tour course, so it's challenging, but very playable and picturesque. It's a classic Florida course (sand bunkers, palm trees, water, etc.) and it doesn't have any condos alongside the fairways, so if they'd prefer to play without worrying about hitting someone's house, that's a good bet. Both courses are thoroughly enjoyable and will test all facets of their game. If they're only playing one course, I'd go with the Palm. If they can play both, even better :).
