I was finishing off some Tinkerbelle tags and titles for a swap I am hosting at the moment, my dd asked if she could see my layout and I explained that they were for a swap, etc and hopefully we would get a photo of tinkerbelle when in DL, and I could do a layout then. I told her that should be one of our goals.

Anyway I asked her what other goals we should have, we managed to come up with a few between us (a little harder for her as she hasn't been involved in the extensive research that I have, but I wanted to give her an opportunity to tell me what is important to her), but the one she came up with on her own was "To have fund, that will be easy" I have to say I was a little tearful as it made it all worthwhile.

Others we came up with were:-

To do the golden rides
To have a mickey ears ice cream
Photo with Mary Poppins (only saw her at the opening ceremony at MK last year)
See all the parades and Fireworks
To do lots of the swimming at the hotels pools (I must stay conscious of this one, as it would be too easy to drag her around DL for too long)
Try a roller coaster (gadget not Space Mountain)

Under two weeks to go now  :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :woohoo: :yay: :bounce: :yay:

My mom has often had a goal of wanting to do/see everything there is in DL. Starting with Main Street, she wanted to hit every single area that allows visitors before hitting the next land to do everything in it. I slyly asked, "So, when you hit Tomorrowland, you'll do Space Mountain?" Yeah, she may never reach that goal!

I did, however, make a few goals that I hope to accomplish:

~Get all of the Hidden 50's photographed! Bet no one saw that comin'. ;)
~See "Remember, Dreams Come True" in its entirety and in a good spot. We're usually running around when it's going on.
~See Parade of Dreams in its entirety and in a good spot. Once, we were seated at lunch at the Carnation Café and the parade went past us. I had my back to it, missed quite a bit.
~Purchase a HM snowglobe. Le Bat en Rouge has been sold out for weeks.
~Ride the Columbia. I've been on Mark Twain, now I need to ride the other one!
~Meet the Mayor of Main Street. Because we haven't yet and he seems cool!
~Ride ALL the kiddie rides in Fantasyland, including Dumbo. Usually don't bother because of the crowds, but if it ever wasn't, why not?
~To see D.U.H. if it ever comes back. My whole family saw it except me!
~To sit in the Lilly Belle. That's actually a dream, not a goal.
~To get the chance to tell someone I've done it all and seen it all at both parks. I'll probably be 90 by then, but just think of how great it would be!

I'll think of others as they come to me. :)

We are heading to the west coast of USA for the first time having been to Florida three times (we are from UK).

We have prepared a list of the things for us that are must do's inc.

- ride all the things that are not in WDW
- see the fireworks, for all our previous trips the kids have been too young to keep out that late so this will be a first for us
- to see something of LA other than Disney and Universal (we have one day set aside for this)
- to find something truly memorable as a keepsake as we are unlikely to get back to the West Coast for some time due to the increased flight time and increased cost.

D.U.H.--Department of Untapped Hilarity. It was a Whose Line is it Anyway type show. It is, unfortunately gone and it doesn't look like it's coming back sinc ethey moved Drawn to Magic on the stage where DUH used to perform. But many of it's performers are part of Laughing Stock in Frontierland.
