If I have a $200 Disney Gift Card, can I use it towards my bill? When do I put it on the account as credit?

I just did this for the upcoming cruise. Went online and put the DGC in as a form of payment. The lines at CS are long on embarkation day.

The onboard credit site has been glitchy lately...

We were not able to use our gift card to buy credit ahead of time. It just kept timing out.

My friend wants to get a discounted gift card, so she has to do it on board, I think. Can she do it the first morning we are on board?

The first morning would be fine. You want to do it before they charge your credit card for the first time.
