We plan to purchase a Disney gift card and use it for food. This way we don't have to tote a lot of of cash. Where in Disney Springs can we use it?

All the restaurants and shops accept the Disney gift cards.

The only place at Disney Springs that didn't take the Disney gift cards were some of the small kiosk like the pet kiosk. That was a year ago so maybe that has changed?

This is what we do now instead of getting the dining plan. I have found that just about all the places take the gift card. Like you said, it is so much easier than carrying cash.

We still charge everything to our room (assuming you are staying on property) then I go every day to pay our balance with our Giftcards/cc points redemption card before it gets charged to our CC on file

Wait, so even the non-Disney branded STORES take Disney gift cards? I always save money on food every trip by purchasing Disney GCs at Sam's Club (they're discounted!). So I'm thinking this would be an amazing way to save on clothes or home purchases (Sugarboo, here I come!)! Can a second person back this up?
