Disney Gift Cards

Has anyone had problems using Disney gift cards for payment on the DCL website lately? I've been trying for several days to apply gift cards and I keep getting a message that "some required information is missing, please check your selections and try again." I know the cards are valid because I've checked them all on disneygiftcard.com

I know I can call and apply the cards but I don't feel like being on the phone for that kind of time and this is something I like to do when I get bored in meetings.

Also, the last time I used gift cards for payment, I was able to apply 3 separate cards at the same time and this doesn't seem to be an option anymore. Am I doing something wrong?

For our upcoming cruise I was never actually able to add the gift cards to my bill on the DCL site. I had to call every time. I was told it was a known issue by the CM's.

My experience is about half the time they don't work. Once when I called they asked several questions about which browser, laptop vs mobile etc, sounded like they had a script and must have had frequent problems. That was probably Jan 2016, so sad it's still occurring, not a big fan of their web site.

I agree, I had to call every time to apply gift cards.

We had the same problem 2 months ago and had to call. They do know it is a problem, but don't seem in a hurry to fix it. Glad I didn't wait till the night before when they were closed to make final payment. I didn't mind calling, but was sort of freaked out and afraid that somehow my gift card with $1000. on it had been "drained". My anxiety was offset by the savings you get using Disney gift cards that you buy elsewhere at a discounted rate.

I had this problem a few months ago as well. And I was dreading having to call and give info for card after card (I had many $100 cards). I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to do. More importantly, the cast member told me for future information, I could combine cards (up to $1,000) on the gift card website. I never knew that! It ended up being very helpful for our cruise - I combined all my cards into one...only had to carry ONE card...and our trip to guest services was much easier since we only had to apply the one card.
