Disney Gift Cards

Do the Disney Gift Cards sold at Target work anywhere at WDW? I'm talking about the "Disney" gift cards not the "Disney Store" gift cards which I know are exclusive to mall Disney Stores only.

Do the Disney cards work for counter service, table service restaurants, in park stores, World of Disney at Downtown Disney.....etc.? Thanks!

We've purchased Disney Gift Cards at Target and used them at any restaurant or store that accepts Disney gift cards. There are some locations in DW that will not accept Disney GCs such as the Swan and Dolphin except for the Disney operated gift shop in the lobby, SOG, and any carts/CMs that don't have credit card capabilities (e.g. refreshment sellers in some of the attraction queues, moving light up toy carts on the parade route).

The Disney Store also sells gift cards that can be used at the parks. On the back it will list the places where they can be used (e.g. Disney World, Disneyland, Disney cruise ships.)
