Can anyone tell me if you can use disney gift cards, that are purchased at a super market or any store, for admission to any of the theme parks??? We are planning a vacation for August and our local super market has dinsey gift cards to buy, which would also give us 10 cents off a gallon of gas for every $50.00 we spend on the cards. We can buy enough gift cards to get a tank free of gas for the trip down...please help!!!!

Yup...I buy the $25 ones all the time with my groceries (got one yesterday). :thumbsup2 I stash them & bring them to put on our bill at the resort (so they mainly cover our dining). I used a bunch on our Disney Med cruise last summer too. It was awesome to just go plunk 'em down at Guest Services.

They say right on the front "Redeemable at select participating locations: Disney Store, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, Disneystore.com, Disneyland and Adventures by Disney".

They are NOT good at the Disney parks outside of the US though. My DS had some that he'd received as gifts and we had hoped he could use them at Disneyland Paris but they're not accepted there.

That is a FANTASTIC way to use Disney gift cards.:thumbsup2 My DD uses the discount she receives for working at our local supermarket to purchase gift cards (which also gives her a discount on gas), then we use any other discount we can find (DVC, Disney Visa, whatever), to get a further discounted rate on park tickets. We recently got an excellent deal on our Annual Passes to DL that way. Sometimes I have even seen promotions from our local supermarket for % off on gift cards, which amazingly included Disney.

I'm always up for a way to save money at my favorite place on earth.
