Sorry - I searched and can not find the answer - very short on time!

I want to give my sister a Disney Gift card to use (I think I can buy these at Walgreens) so she can pick something out for her birthday.

Can these cards be used on the ship? If so, does she give it to Guest Services when paying at the end or can the card be used in the gift shop?

Thanks!

You can use your gift cards on the ship to settle your account at any time at Guest Services. You can't use them to directly pay for items... that goes on your room key account. You could take the gift cards at the beginning of the cruise and pre-pay for future charges. I was able to use 2 $50 gift cards, and it was awesome.

Actually, there appears to have been a recent change of policy that allows the use of gift cards in the ship's shops. Check out the other thread.

Ooh, that's kind of exciting. Ok, not really, there's not much of a difference. Haha. But that wasn't possible in December, so I"ll have to try it out in July. Good to know.
