Disney gift cards

I'm sure this has been asked before, so sorry if redundent.

Can the Disney Gift Cards be used at all of the snack/beverage/food places within the Disney parks? Or just shopping?

I was thinking this would be a saver for me if we managed to load cards for everyone on our trip to use for snacks/food instead of trying to keep the cash on us.

You can use them for just about anything.

But, if your purpose is to avoid carrying cash, link a credit card to your account so that any purchases charged to your room will be handled by that credit card.
