Disney Gift Cards - Transfer balances from one card to another

so weird i have had 3 sets that could not be merged my DS one cant go to a target one or one bought in a cvs type place but i was able to merge the CVS on with a staples ones......my guess is they are all coded different in disneys system and only like kinds can be merged....so target my guess sells the most disney giftcards in the country probably more then disney itself they probably get them between 5-8% less then face disney might code them differently in their systems....who knows i stopped i have almost 1700 in cards from all over the place and will just use the old system of using them next time i will keep them all separate so i can combine easier.....this would not be a problem if target sold larger dollar amounts.....

Last time I was in Target I found $100 Disney gift cards for the first time - but I agree it would be great if they started stocking the cards where you can put up to $500 (saw those at the local grocery store the other day).

I have also been able to buy $100 denominations at Target.com.

I had no problem combining the $100 and $25 cards from BJs. It was so easy that I couldn't believe it!
