Disney Gift Cards...the savings just keep adding up!

My DH just refuses to get a target card so I went the sam's club route.

I purchased Walmart gift cards using my Disney visa * reward dollars!*

Then went onto ebates and went to Sam's club. *ebate dollars!*

Then I used my walmart cards and purchased discounted disney gift cards *5% savings!*

Next, I'll call Disney and buy my tickets.

I got $42.92 reward dollars, $32.17 ebates cashback, and 5% off the disney gift cards. I would have spent $2250 on tickets, but after the savings and rebates, I spent $2066.91...a savings of 8.14%!!

did the Disney rewards dollars post for the purchase of Disney gift cards? I asked if it would years ago and was told I wouldn't get rewards dollars for the purchase of gift cards. If that has changed it would be awesome!
