Disney gift cards from the grocery store ?

What happens if you apply all your gift cards to your KTTWC and have a balance when you check out? We are on the DDP and plan to use the money for tips and extras.

When we put the cards on the room they did warn us that we'd need to use the balance before we checked out. If you're worried about not using it all, you may want to just hold onto the gift cards until the end of your trip and pay off the balance with gift cards the night before you check out.

Also once you have just 1 gift card you can add $$ to it by calling DelivEARS ~ 800-362-4533 *you give the CM your credit/debit card info and they mail you the receipt. That way you have just one Disney Card/number to keep track of and not try to lose I suggest you email all of your card #s including the pins to yourself. You could call twice a month or whatever and add $$ that way.

(Just in case someone else didn't know about this) I was able to have more funds added to my Disney Gift card when I went to the Disney Store today. I was also able to have any amount that I wanted added to the card and I paid by credit card (I over paid my credit card and I wanted to use that extra money).

I have a stupid question.....so when you add funds to your card, do you just keep all the receipts so you know what the correct new balance is ? I'm asking because I want to kind of use it as a "savings" for our trip and maybe once a month keep adding funds to the card. but I don't want to lose track of what I'm putting on the card. ( I also want proof that what I'm putting on the card IS actually on the card, you know?)

I think you're always supposed to keep the receipt incase you lose the card and need Disney to replace it. However, there is a number on the back that you can call and confirm the amount on the card.

I guess that's what I'm a little confused about. ....unfortunately, we don't have a Disney Store, so I'm going to have to call the number to add funds to my card. I assume they'll mail me (or email me) some kind of receipt, right?

FYI Krogers was doing a promo (as of 2 weeks ago when I bought not sure if it is still going on) and if you bought the pack of disney gift cards that was (3) $15 cards so total of $45 they gave you a coupon for $5 off your next purchase. And you got double fuel points...my store only had 2 packs but I bought them both.

Right a receipt will be mailed to you ~ but all you really need is you card # & pin ~ email those to yourself, that way if you lose the card you still have the important info. Also you can check your card balance **here** *again entering in the card # and pin

Yep I did that last year *had about $500 in Gift Cards *kinda annoying but ok* I got lots of $5 vouchers *purchased my kids Easter using them. My sister and her family are visiting Disneyland Resort this week and she purchased several gift card packs from our Kroger store.

Oh, I know.... I'm saving for our 2013 trip already ! that way, it's not such a huge hit at once. We were supposed to go next year, but decided to put it off until 2013 when the expansion is done at MK. Since we're going the beginning of June, I didn't know if anything would be open yet. So, another year to save up I suppose !

yeah see, that's exactly why we decided to put it off. All we kept thinking was, if we went in June, we'll still be looking at the walls. if we wait, then we'll actually get to see everything. (hopefully most everything!)
I hate waiting so long, but I know it'll be worth it !!

I keep seeing Fall 2012 too..... I would have to think that they'll do the first phase before it starts getting busy for the holidays. I hope you'll get to see some of the new stuff !!

I've been buying Disney Gift Cards from Sam's for months. A $100 card costs $98.87 plus each one comes with a bonus $10 Disney Store GC. I feel like I'm getting a little discount and they are adding up!
