Disney Gift Cards from Target

I do not have a Target card or Debit card but the 5% off of a Disney Gift Card is certainly intriguing giving how stupidly expensive it is to plan a vacation there. What can I use these cards for or, more importantly, what aren't they good on?

You cannot use the GCs at cash-only locations. They cannot be used in places that are not owned by Disney, such as the Swan, Dolphin or certain merchants/restaurants in Downtown Disney. You cannot use them to pay for a car rental at the Car Care Center.

So when we walk into the Magic Kingdom can we...pay for our character meal with these??? buy souveniers with these??? basically be used anywhere, anytime inside one of the four parks (outside of whereever cash only places exist)?

Anything you can charge to your room, you can pay with a gift card.
So meals, souvenirs, pirate's league, ride pictures, your entire reservation...

I just bought $3300 of them yesterday for just under $3,000 combining the Target card and prescription rewards.

The real gold of this situation is if you stay on-site and get the best discount you can, then pay for it with cards you can buy for 5-10% off.
