Disney gift cards from Target not activated

So, I ordered $1,500 in gift cards from Target with my Red card (first time doing this). I just tried to add them to my account so I can transfer the balance onto one card and none of them have been activated. Do I have to do something to activate them or did Target mess up by not activating them before sending them?

Ohmygosh! Not certain...but it sounds as if Target messed up. I would be on the phone with customer service immediately! Or - making a trip to the store. Best wishes!

No, you don't have to do anything except scratch off on the back of the gift card and enter the numbers. They are supposed to be activated. I agree you should definitely call or go to your local target for assistance.

Please check the Disney gift cards thread. There is a post with the phone number to contact target online gift card department to deal with this problem. The post was made around December 20th when target had 10 percent off gift cards.

Yes, wait until Monday to call otherwise you will get no where today and it will be a big waist of time resulting in you wanting to strangle every target customer service rep!!
