Disney Gift Cards @ DVC?

Has anyone been able to use the Disney Gift Cards (that you can buy @ Disneyshopping.com) NOT the Credit Card Chase Reward Cards to purchase:

Dining Plan &

Park Tickets

@ DVC resorts?

They were not able to accept our last trip (early October)...before I purchase more, just wondering.

Know they can be used @ the resorts.

Hmmm...I'm not sure, but we were at SSR a couple of weeks ago and they're now selling Disney gift cards...I've never seen them before... Does that help a bit?

Called MS (who didn't know); who called the WL direct. The CM she spoke to said of course.

I decided to call WL myself, CM said "probably" . Further stated the new computer system is now in place. Knows we can buy park tickets with them. "Assumes" they can be used for DP.

Bumping again to see if anyone staying @ DVC has successfully used the gift cards to purchase the DP?

yes. WDW resorts computer systems can now accept Disney Gift Cards as a form of payment (but not the disney on line cards which are only good for purchases at the disney store)
