Disney Gift Cards at a discount??

Do any stores (disney store, target, ect.) ever offer a 'deal' on disney gift cards-- for example purchase a $100 card get $10 free?? Is this something I should keep an eye out for?

If you have/get a Target Red Card credit or debit card you get 5% off of all purchases, including Disney gift cards, all the time, and if you use their pharmacy you can get an extra 5% coupon every 5 prescriptions filled, for a total of 10% of that one time purchase.

Wholesale clubs like Sams, BJs, and Costco also usually have Disney GCs at a small discount ($100 for $97 or something like that).

I have seen a $100 Disney gift card with a bonus $10 at Sam's Club before, I haven't seen it in a while but keep you eye peeled.

In June 2012 Target had Disney Gift Cards on sale for about 6% off. I then used my red card and got another 5% off.

Many grocery stores have Disney Gift Cards and have store coupons for discounts. You can get them from between 15-33% off.

I wish this were true for my area. I couldn't even get 6% back in June from Target.

I agree and can sympathize. Our area Targets also did not run that same promo on Disney cards back in June 2012. IIRC, it was only a few select markets that got that. It seems several grocery stores (like HEB) also run some fairly regular discounts on their gift cards and that includes Disney. But again, those types of deals are never seen in the area I live in. I pretty much can use the Target Redcard discount or fuel rewards from grocery stores. In the end though, I'm thankful for any savings.
