Can guest services link Disney gift cards to your magic band?

No, you'll need to have a credit card on file, but you can go to the front desk and use the gift cards to pay off the balance. Most recommend that you do this well before you reach the charging limit which is based on your resort category so if this is for the Aug trip to All Star Sports the charging limit is $500. Also, at the end of your trip be sure to apply the gift cards the night before you leave because otherwise your credit card will be charged during the night before your departure day.
