Disney Gift Cards and Dues?

Can I pay my dues with Disney gift cards? Just curious because in Ohio we get gas perks at Giant Eagle for buying gift cards. I usually pay my dining plan this way too. It's usually good for a couple tanks of gas for a couple months

Exactly how do you pay with the gift cards? Send them in? By phone?

We used gift cards last summer for the dining plan which worked out great because they were still making you pay when you check in. I was told now that if you want the dining plan you have to pay over the phone right then and there. No more paying when you check in. I was also told that I could use gift cards over the phone to pay for the dining plan so I figure you could do the same with dues. You'd have to call MS and select the accounting option.

I did it. I bought the gift cards at Winn Dixie when they had their $5 off $50 gift card promotion. It took a long time on the phone because I paid with 18 different gift cards, but I was able to do it!
