Disney Gift Card

I just got a webcertificate from mypoints and I would like to redeem it for $25 Disney Gift Card-the new one that you can use at the parks...When I look at the notes on the card it says "selected areas of WDW" or something like that...So, has anyone had any experience with this card? Where can you use it? Is it worth getting the card? Or are there only a few places here and there that you can use it?
Any insight is greatly appreciated!

I probably won't be much help. I used mine to shop at Mousegears and the disney discount store in Orlando. I didn't have any problem using it. Could also get the gift card and go to the disney store and purchase disney dollars if you prefer them. The disney card is only reloadable at the parks and maybe the store but not from home. You can also find out your balance at any disney register at WDW and the discount store. Susan

We were wondering the same thing....We are going for food and wine and figured it would be easier payiong for things instead of using cash
