Has anyone tried buying Disney gift cards through shopathome at Target (gets 4% cash back) and then using the redcard to get another 5% off? I just tried it this morning so I will see if it works. I have used shopathome in the past and gotten the rebates, it just takes a long time to work. It is similar to ebates. Target's website only allows you to buy 3 gift cards at a time, I had to do separate transactions until I got the amount I wanted.

It did not work for me. No cash back since I bought gift cards.

You can get 6 points per dollar at Mypoints and then use those points for gift cards.

How do you get 6 points per dollar? When I looked it was 2 points per dollar. I may be looking in the wrong place, because I am not familiar with Mypoints. Thanks.

For the past several years we have booked our Disney Trip thru AAA--actually was cheaper than booking directly thru Disney. AAA accepts Disney gift cards. I purchased $2,000 in gift cards at Giant Eagle when they offered double fuel perks. This gave me $80 in free gas. I purchased the giftcards with my Disney Rewards Chase card and got 1% rewards back. This gave me an additional $20 back--in a Disney gift card! Every penny helps!

That's weird. It's showing up as 6 points per dollar for me? Maybe it's a special for the day or something?

Ooo, good point - I had some MyPoints that I was saving up for an Amazon gc, but haven't been using Amazon as much lately, so just redeemed the points for a Target gc!

I only see 2 pts or 1.4% cash back. Didn't realize they were now offering cash back! But I've primarily switched to eBates for that reason (and eBates still gives more in terms of cash back).
