Disney Gift Card Question

I've never used a Disney gift card from DisneyGiftCard.com before. Can these be used anywhere in the Disneyland resort including food and restaurants??

Yup you can use them... the only place you may not be able to use them is the little carts inside the resorts... some of them are cash only...

You can't use them in downtown Disney, except at World of Disney.

I think you can use the Gift Card to buy Disney Dollars, which some Downtown Disney stores can accept.

They stopped doing this about a year ago, when they started being required to exchange Disney Dollars for cash (they would aways do so anyway, but they are now legally obligated to do so).

I only use my money in the park or at World of Disney so it'll work out

As an FYI, you can use them at the churro carts... it's quite problematic for my waistline! lol.

I have used them at the snack carts, some anyway. The gift card was not accepted at one of the little beer carts at California Adventure. I also used cash for the balloon vendors on main street before fireworks time.

Can anyone tell me if the gift card balance is printed on the bottom of your receipt after each use? I'm debating buying a bunch of Disney cards at Kroger right now while they are doing 4x fuel points. Unfortunately they only go up to $50 so I'll wind up carrying a bunch, and it might be more of a hassle than it's worth if I have to keep wondering what my balances are.

Also, is it ever a problem if you have like $2 left on a card but you go to buy a $3 item? I can't imagine their system would decline the card, but you know that's how it works with Visa debit cards so I figure I'd better ask. And along the same lines, can you use multiple cards for one transaction?

after each use they tell you how much is left. I could not use the cards at the cart in front of Alice tea party. i went to a store set up near it and found what i wanted and used it there. I was bummed but got over it.

Also, if you call the toll free number on the back, they can combine them. You may need your original receipts and activations reciepts.

If the dollar amount is more than what's left On the card, you will just have to pay the difference.

Also, California law states that if you have $10 (I think it is $10, but it might be $5.) or less left on the card, they have to give you the cash for the balance if you ask.

Oh that's interesting about the California law. Thanks for that info.

It might just be easier to use cash, I always love cash. LOL But if I buy just $500 in gift cards that would be a $40 savings on a 20 gallon tank of gas.
