Disney gift card question??

So we decided to do the dining plan again.. This time we thought that we would get a Disney gift card and put enough money on it to use just for tips .. Can we do this?? We thought it may be easier to just use the gc than our debit?? Thoughts?

Yes. You will be able to use a gift card.
