Disney Gift Card or Disney Dollars

Anyone in Canada know how to get these. We wanted to get them for our kids birthdays and they could use them as their spending money while in Disney, but online will not ship to Canada and when we went to the Disney store they only sell ones that are good for online shopping.......

Not sure where you live, but if you are close to a Disney store in the USA that would be the only way to get them without actually going to Disney. Maybe if you know someone going to the states they get some for you.

If you can't get the real ones maybe you could make up something on the computer and print it with a little note on it "can be exchanged at WDW next trip" for real Disney $

They will not ship to Canada, I have tried a couple of times and been told the same thing.

You can get gift cards sent to you from Disney.com. There is a $14.00 shipping charge though.
I bought gift cards for our upcoming trip when the dollar was at .93 so as not to worry about exchange on a cc while vacationing.

I just went on the website and now it says that they won't ship internationally. If you are lucky like me you have a great friend "Mickey's Best Girl" who is going two months before I am and she's getting me my disney dollar and gift cards. I think the idea of making "Disney Money" to exchange for real on arrival is a good one.

I can't get the link to work so here are the instructions on how to purchase Disney Gift cards online:
If you go to Disney.com click on Tickets just below Price your dream vacation. You will have to make like you are planning to purchase park tickets so choose your country and click Get Prices. Now scroll down and change the number of park tickets to 0. Open the drop down menu under browse available tickets and click Disney gift cards. Hit GO and you're there! After you have picked your way through all of the available designs and chosen what you want head to "checkout". Once there, choose International Express as the delivery option and they will ship them across the border to you.


The bad news is the international delivery charge has gone up to $25.00 so my advice is save a large amount of $$ to make the charge worth while.
I found purchasing the gift cards ahead a great way to budget spending/dining money so I can leave my cc at home. My luck the dollar will drop to about $.50 while I'm in the world.

If you are lucky like me you have a great friend "Mickey's Best Girl" who is going two months before I am and she's getting me my disney dollar and gift cards.

This is definately the best option!

thanks everyone, but we were hoping to get disney dollars or gift cards for our kids birthdays and they could use their US money for our other stops. Just not worth the high shipping expense for that....

For my trip this time last year I ordered Disney Dollars thru www.disneydollars.net

My heart was in my throat the entire time until they were delivered, the process is you write a letter and send thru a money order with shipping charges (I believe it was the $14 they quote on the website)....within 10 days the disney dollars were shipped to me, in the denominations I wanted and sent via Fed Ex where I had to sign for them as well.

I had called them to confirm receipt of my order, and they called me to confirm when they sent it...and I called them to thank them for their awesome service.

Worked for me!! We used the disney dollars as "incentive dollars" for my kids prior to our trip....my house was sparkling weeks before the trip!

Don't know if you're interested, and don't know when you need them for or when your trip is, but we are going to WDW at the end of October and will be back home NOV. 8th. I am willing to buy Disney Dollars or Gift cards while I"m there. PM me if interested. DH works for Purolator so Overnight shipping is what we always use when sending things (costs us pennies). I wouldn't ask for reimbursement till I'm home with them, and then no worries if that doesn't happen, as I'm sure we'll be going back to Disney in the not so far future so if I am stuck with them, I'm not stuck, as we would use them eventually.

Thanks so much for the awesome offer, but we are leaving on Oct. 31 and wont be home until Nov 21.....we will just give them american money and then our first disney day i will get some disney dollars and that can be their spending money for at Disney.
